Michael Myers, of Kooskia, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019. He was born in Greenville, Texas and settled in the Kooskia area in the early 70's. Mike worked for the US Forest Service fighting fires, building trails, packing mule strings and eventually finishing his career as a Law Enforcement Officer. He retired in 2009 and enjoyed raising animals.
He married his wife Becky and spent 45 years together. He is survived by wife, Becky and two sons, Casey and Matt and their families. Casey with Laci raised two grandchildren, Bass and Megan. Matt with Tracey raised two grandchildren, Maggie and Decker. Mike loved being with his family. He is also survived by his mother, four sisters and two brothers.
Mike preferred no services to be held. Trenary Funeral Home of Kooskia is assisting the family.
