Mary Harvey

Mary Louise Harvey, 93, of Kooskia, Idaho passed away on January 3, 2025. She was born in Kooskia Idaho on December 14, 1931.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held in the chapel at Trenary Funeral Home, 18 W 1st Ave, Kooskia, ID 83539, on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00am, with Rev. Luann Howard officiating. A burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Kooskia.

Mary attended school in Kooskia, Idaho, and then she went to high school at Chemawa Boarding School in Salem, Oregon.

Mary raised 3 children and worked alongside her husband on their farm on Kidder Ridge. Where she lived for over 50 years, of which she was very proud of. Mary worked for the Forest Service for a short while.

Mary loved raising flowers indoors and outdoors. She raised a big garden every year until it became too difficult. She liked to knit, crochet and embroider. Mary also enjoyed fishing. camping, huckleberrying, or just going for a ride in the mountains and sitting on the front porch.

She was active in the Presbyterian Church, Gateway Christian Fellowship especially after moving into the town of Kooskia. She also attended the Kamiah Community Presbyterian Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband Rex. L. Flerchinger; her mother Helen McConville; her beloved grandmother Elizabeth Corbett; grandsons Kyle Flerchinger and Ben Flerchinger; later husbands Charles Loucka and Jack Harvey.

Mary is survived by her daughter Sharon Murray (Michal), sons Lawrance Flerchinger (Fraun), and Gerald Flerchinger; grandchildren Chris, Levi, and Gerilyn Flerchinger, Elizabeth, Jasmine, Lily, William and Rose Flerchinger, Dan Resler (Sid Whitsell), Amy Resler (Drew), Traci Schreiber (Russ). She had a special love for each and every one of her grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed by her family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Hospice of Syringa Hospital, Kooskia Gateway Christian Fellowship or to the Kamiah Community Presbyterian Church
