Marsha Paulsen Godwin, 68 passed away at her home in Kamiah, Idaho on November 22, 2018. Marsha was born in Idaho Falls, ID on March 18, 1950 to Herb & Ione Paulsen of Arco, ID. She attended school in Arco, ID and went ISU where she earned a Secretarial Degree.
She married Daryl "Butch" Godwin on January 2, 1971 in her family church in Arco, ID. They moved to Kamiah, ID in the spring of 1972. Marsha and Butch shared a child, Ryan Godwin.
She worked at Cloningers Market. Most recently (for many years) she was the secretary for Dabco Logging. She retired at the end of last year.
She enjoyed bowling, riding her horses and being a part of the Gold Trail Wranglers. She was very dedicated to creating beautiful quilts for family and friends. She was a part of North Idaho Quilters that traveled all over to share and work on various projects and spoke of all the cool places and people she got to share that experience with.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was loved by many.
She leaves behind her son, Ryan Godwin; daughter in law, Jamie Godwin; grandson, Kevin Godwin; granddaughter, Emma Godwin; twin brother Mark (Sherry) Paulsen; and older brother, Ray (Linda) Paulsen. She also had four "adoptees" who called her Grandma Marsha (Hali, Ryle, KC and Libby). She had many wonderful nieces and nephews, sister and brothers in law she loved dearly. She was blessed to be loved by her numerous friends and family. She left us too soon, but will never be forgotten.
Her services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Highway 12, Kamiah Idaho. A dinner will follow at the Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bishop Brazzil and Trenary Funeral Home of Kooskia, Idaho.
