Judith Jackson-Packineau

July 4, 1960 — September 16, 2018

Judith "Judy" Jackson-Packineau, 58, of Stites Idaho, passed away peacefully September 16th, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by family who loved her. Born July 4th, 1960 in Grangeville Idaho to the late Charles Jackson Sr. and the late Shirley Ann Ellenwood. Judy was a fun, feisty, adventurous and a very beautiful soul. She was also loved for her kindness, compassionate and selfless demeanor.

Judy was intelligent woman who was deeply motivated to serve others from all walks of life. She prided herself in her work and she was an asset to any team or group. She was avid art collector and photographer. She was also a culinary enthusiast. She loved being outdoors hiking, kayaking, canoeing, camping, swimming, bbqing, cooking or just spending time with family and friends.

As a young child she attended Lapwai Elementary and High School then later the Idaho State University. Her first job was the Pizza Hut in Lewiston, Idaho where she was known to "hook everyone up." She later followed in the Human Resources department with many different agencies.

She met her first husband Brad Picard, they later divorced. Her second husband was Roy Packineau of Washington, they eventually dissolved their relationship. Her lifelong companion was Henry Sanderson of Smith River California. Juders loved her pups, Carolyn's nephews.

Judy took pride in her work and loved the people she worked with. She worked at the Spokane Community College, Yakima Community College, Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, and Clearwater River Casino to name a few.

She is also survived by her loving family: Aunties Carol Webb and Clara Jackson (Hudsy) and Uncles Delbert Ellenwood, Raymond Ellenwood Sr. and Gordon Webb. Sisters; Caroline Amerman (Roger), Verla Wright (Ben), Darla Jackson (Herman), Bonita Oatman (Marcus), Shirley Allman, Deleen Ellenwood, Diane Ellenwood and Charlotte Ellenwood and Brothers; Roger Jackson, Doug Jackson (Patty) and Charles "Spud" Jackson, Willie Allman and Cedric Ellenwood Sr.. Many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, both grandparents, her sister Ruby Jackson.

Memorial Services will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Trenary Funeral Home Chapel in Kooskia, Idaho. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at First Indian Presbyterian Church, HWY 12, Kamiah, Idaho.
