Joyce Elaine Dupont Williams Crawford of Kooskia, Idaho died April 6, 2018 at Guardian Angel Homes in Lewiston, Idaho. Joyce was born October 17, 1931 in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota to Phillip and Louria Dupont. She had three brothers and one sister.

Joyce was raised in Minnisota and the Moxee-Yakima area of Washington. She returned to Red Lake Falls to graduate High School and then returned to Washington. While in Washington she met and married Pete Williams, who was in the Navy. They had three children; Jim, Kathy and John. They lived in California, Washington and Idaho until they settled in the Clearwater Valley of Idaho where they bought Pete's Cashway now known as Dale's Cashway between Kamiah and Kooskia and ran that business for eleven years. Pete passed away in 1979. Joyce then met and married James Crawford. They made their home on the Middle Fork of the Clearwater River.

Joyce was active in the Catholic Church, VFW Women's Auxiliary (holding the record for the longest membership). She loved fishing, hunting, and camping along with feeding quail and humming birds. She had many friends and extended family and will be dearly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Louria; her first husband, Pete Williams; her brothers, Phil & George; her sister, Patricia; her son, Jim and her step son, Jimmy.

She is survived by her husband James Crawford; her brother Lee Dupont; daughter, Kathy Hanshaw; son, John Williams; step daughter, Jayme Watson; and grandchildren, Jeff Williams, Brian Williams, Jennifer Huffman, Tonya Patterson, Cheryl Lycan, Matt Bratcher, Casey Koszalka, Jason Crawford, and many grandchildren.

Mass and Celebration Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday May 5, 2018 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Kamiah, Idaho. A meal will follow in the church basement. Reverend Father Sipho will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trenary Funeral Home of Kooskia, Idaho.
