E. Joan Umphenour, 87 of Kooskia, ID
E. Joan Umphenour was born July 26, 1929 to Ralph and Elizabeth Uhler in Afton, WY She died peacefully at home February 18, 2017. She was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. Joan married Merlyn S. Umphenour June 3, 1948. They moved to Kooskia in 1951. They had 3 children Vicki Latondress, Sheryl Jenkins, and Mike Umphenour. She worked as a clerk at Giblers, Yoccums, and Pankeys. Joan was a member of Chapter 43 of Eastern Star of Kamiah, Idaho.
She is survived by her children; a sister Phyllis York, son-in-law Glenn Jenkins, 5 Grand Children, 14 Great grand Children, 4 Great-great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Merlyn S Umphenour, her mother, father and 4 brothers.

A Celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trenary Funeral Home of Kooskia, ID.
