Dane Anderberg, 89 of Kooskia

Dane H. Anderberg Passed away December 16th 2016 at St. Josephs regional medical center from pneumonia following hip surgery. He was 89. Dane was born November 14, 1927 in Declo, Idaho to Harold and Goldie Anderberg. He has one sister Betty Jean Ramsey. After Graduation from Ogden High school, Dane joined the Marines. He served from 1945 to 1948. Dane Married and had 3 children, Paul, Pamela and Michael. Dane worked for E.L Lawrence Laboratory in Berkley CA for 33 years. He was a scientific glass blower. He moved to Tempe AZ and continued to work in research. He met Patricia Carstensen and the two were married November 23, 1985. He became Dad to Charles and Susan Carstensen. Dane and Pat moved to Kooskia Idaho in 2002.

Dane was preceded in Death by his parents and Charles Carstensen. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Patricia, His sister Betty Jean and Sons Paul (Lynne), Michael (Michelle) and Daughters Pamela and Susan. Dane had 10 grandchildren and 34 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Monday December 19, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints Kamiah Second Ward. Viewing was from 10:00am - 11:00am and the Funeral Service was at 11:00am. A dinner followed in the fellowship hall. Arrangements was entrusted to Trenary Funeral Home of Kooskia.
